CYIENT Gains 6%; BSE IT Index Up 0.3%

CYIENT share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 1,875.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 42,040.5 (up 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE IT index today are KPIT TECHNOLOGIES (up 2.5%) and HAPPIEST MINDS TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.1%).

Oracle Financial Services (down 4.5%) and INTELLECT DESIGN (down 2.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, CYIENT has moved up from Rs 1,617.0 to Rs 1,875.3, registering a gain of Rs 258.3 (up 16.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved up from 31,255.0 to 42,040.5, registering a gain of 34.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were Oracle Financial Services (up 159.8%), Firstsource Solutions (up 108.0%) and PERSISTENT SYSTEMS (up 95.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,187.3 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Axis Bank (up 1.2%) and Nestle (up 0.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,418.1 (up 0.1%). Axis Bank and ITC are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,571.9 to 80,187.3, registering a gain of 15,615.5 points (up 24.2%).

CYIENT Financial Update...

CYIENT net profit grew 1.6% YoY to Rs 1,866 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,836 million a year ago. Net sales rose 4.0% to Rs 18,491 million during the period as against Rs 17,785 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, CYIENT reported 36.6% increase in net profit to Rs 7,028 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,144 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 18.8% to Rs 71,472 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of CYIENT, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 30.4.
