CG Power & Industrial share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 831.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,138.1 (up 0.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 0.8%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA (down 0.7%).

Carborundum Universal (up 2.7%) and AIA Engineering (up 1.8%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, CG Power & Industrial has moved up from Rs 404.4 to Rs 831.9, registering a gain of Rs 427.6 (up 105.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 47,961.7 to 72,138.1, registering a gain of 50.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 133.9%), Siemens (up 120.2%) and Bharat Electronics (up 109.3%).

The BSE Sensex is at 81,786.1 (down 0.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (down 2.4%) and JSW Steel (down 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Reliance Ind..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,064.1 (down 0.3%). Bajaj Auto and Bajaj Finance are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,473.1 to 81,786.1, registering a gain of 15,313.0 points (up 23.0%).

CG Power & Industrial Financial Update...

CG Power & Industrial net profit grew 22.4% YoY to Rs 2,412 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,971 million a year ago. Net sales rose 18.9% to Rs 22,275 million during the period as against Rs 18,740 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, CG Power & Industrial reported 9.4% increase in net profit to Rs 8,711 million compared to net profit of Rs 7,963 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 15.4% to Rs 80,460 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of CG Power & Industrial, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 138.9.
