CG Power & Industrial share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 844.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,687.9 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Lakshmi Machine (up 1.8%) and Bharat Forge (up 0.8%).

V GUARD IND. (down 2.6%) and ABB (down 2.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, CG Power & Industrial has moved up from Rs 392.5 to Rs 844.2, registering a gain of Rs 451.7 (up 115.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 48,057.9 to 71,687.9, registering a gain of 49.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 131.6%), Siemens (up 113.2%) and Bharat Electronics (up 106.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,204.9 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Kotak Bank (down 6.6%) and Indusind Bank (down 2.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,799.2 (down 0.2%). Tata Consumer Products and Kotak Bank are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,428.1 to 81,204.9, registering a gain of 14,776.8 points (up 22.2%).

CG Power & Industrial Financial Update...

CG Power & Industrial net profit grew 22.4% YoY to Rs 2,412 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,971 million a year ago. Net sales rose 18.9% to Rs 22,275 million during the period as against Rs 18,740 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, CG Power & Industrial reported 9.4% increase in net profit to Rs 8,711 million compared to net profit of Rs 7,963 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 15.4% to Rs 80,460 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of CG Power & Industrial, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 141.0.
