CAPLIN POINT share price has zoomed 9% and is presently trading at Rs 1,724.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 41,283.3 (up 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are METROPOLIS HEALTHCARE (up 3.3%) and Glenmark Pharma (up 3.0%).

SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (down 2.3%) and ALEMBIC PHARMA (down 1.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, CAPLIN POINT has moved up from Rs 1,013.2 to Rs 1,724.1, registering a gain of Rs 710.9 (up 70.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 27,819.2 to 41,283.3, registering a gain of 48.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were GRANULES INDIA (up 126.5%), GSK Pharma (up 107.6%) and Glenmark Pharma (up 102.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,488.4 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are NTPC (up 1.8%) and Reliance Ind. (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,574.5 (up 0.1%). Hindalco and BPCL are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 80,488.4, registering a gain of 15,086.5 points (up 23.1%).

CAPLIN POINT Financial Update...

CAPLIN POINT net profit grew 19.9% YoY to Rs 1,249 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,042 million a year ago. Net sales rose 16.1% to Rs 4,590 million during the period as against Rs 3,953 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, CAPLIN POINT reported 22.2% increase in net profit to Rs 3,770 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,085 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 15.5% to Rs 14,667 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of CAPLIN POINT, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 27.2.
