Brigade Enterprises Plunges 4%; BSE REALTY Index Down 0.0%

Brigade Enterprises share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 1,348.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,560.8 .

Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY index today are PRESTIGE ESTATES (down 1.3%) and OBEROI REALTY (down 0.7%).

SUNTECK REALTY (up 6.1%) and Godrej Properties (up 2.5%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Brigade Enterprises has moved up from Rs 564.8 to Rs 1,348.7, registering a gain of Rs 783.9 (up 138.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,047.8 to 8,560.8, registering a gain of 111.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 283.1%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 228.5%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 138.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 76,915.5 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 3.0%) and Bajaj Finance (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,416.8 (up 0.7%). Coal India and Power Grid Corp. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,724.7 to 76,915.5, registering a gain of 14,190.8 points (up 22.6%).

Brigade Enterprises Financial Update...

Brigade Enterprises net profit grew 234.2% YoY to Rs 2,109 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 631 million a year ago. Net sales rose 102.0% to Rs 17,024 million during the period as against Rs 8,426 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Brigade Enterprises reported 443.1% increase in net profit to Rs 2,222 million compared to net loss of Rs 648 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 14.9% to Rs 34,446 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Brigade Enterprises, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 77.7.
