Bajaj Electricals share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 1,021.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 58,589.8 (down 1.0%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (down 4.8%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (down 4.5%).

RAJESH EXPORTS (up 1.6%) and Titan (up 0.5%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Bajaj Electricals has moved down from Rs 1,289.4 to Rs 1,021.9, registering a loss of Rs 267.5 (down 20.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,838.6 to 58,589.8, registering a gain of 36.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 176.4%), Blue Star (up 115.2%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 97.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,342.5 (up 0.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are TCS (up 2.8%) and Infosys (up 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,791.5 (up 0.7%). LTIMINDTREE and TCS are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,589.9 to 81,342.5, registering a gain of 14,752.6 points (up 22.2%).

Bajaj Electricals Financial Update...

Bajaj Electricals net profit fell 44.7% YoY to Rs 293 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 530 million a year ago. Net sales declined 8.0% to Rs 11,881 million during the period as against Rs 12,920 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Bajaj Electricals reported 36.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,359 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,154 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 5.1% to Rs 46,413 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Bajaj Electricals, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 86.7.
