Bajaj Electricals share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 1,103.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 59,054.6 (down 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (up 1.6%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 1.2%).

ORIENT ELECTRIC (down 1.3%) and Titan (down 0.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Bajaj Electricals has moved down from Rs 1,250.1 to Rs 1,103.4, registering a loss of Rs 146.8 (down 11.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,765.2 to 59,054.6, registering a gain of 38.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 191.0%), Blue Star (up 109.0%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 99.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,206.7 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are HCl Tech. (up 3.0%) and ICICI Bank (up 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,343.8 (up 0.2%). HCl Tech. and ICICI Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,205.1 to 80,206.7, registering a gain of 15,001.7 points (up 23.0%).

Bajaj Electricals Financial Update...

Bajaj Electricals net profit fell 44.7% YoY to Rs 293 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 530 million a year ago. Net sales declined 8.0% to Rs 11,881 million during the period as against Rs 12,920 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Bajaj Electricals reported 73.8% increase in net profit to Rs 2,162 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,244 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 12.8% to Rs 54,293 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Bajaj Electricals, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 93.6.
