Bajaj Auto share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 11,527.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE AUTO index is at 59,067.2 (down 1.2%).

Among the top losers in the BSE AUTO index today are Motherson Sumi (down 2.7%) and M&M (down 1.9%).

TUBE INVESTMENTS OF INDIA (up 1.1%) and Balkrishna Ind (up 0.7%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Bajaj Auto has moved up from Rs 5,063.5 to Rs 11,527.9, registering a gain of Rs 6,464.5 (up 127.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE AUTO index has moved up from 36,686.0 to 59,067.2, registering a gain of 61.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE AUTO index stocks during this same period were Bajaj Auto (up 127.7%), Motherson Sumi (up 118.6%) and Cummins India (up 109.2%).

Bajaj Auto Financial Update...

Bajaj Auto net profit grew 18.1% YoY to Rs 19,418 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 16,441 million a year ago. Net sales rose 15.7% to Rs 119,321 million during the period as against Rs 103,119 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Bajaj Auto reported 27.2% increase in net profit to Rs 77,082 million compared to net profit of Rs 60,602 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 23.1% to Rs 448,704 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Bajaj Auto, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 41.6.
