BPL LIMITED share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 128.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 59,142.3 (down 0.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are Bajaj Electricals (down 1.0%) and Titan (down 0.7%).

ORIENT ELECTRIC (up 1.1%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 0.7%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, BPL LIMITED has moved up from Rs 60.7 to Rs 128.3, registering a gain of Rs 67.6 (up 111.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,891.3 to 59,142.3, registering a gain of 37.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Axis Bank (up 1.8%) and Ultratech Cement (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,595.8 (up 0.3%). Axis Bank and HDFC Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,523.2 to 77,559.3, registering a gain of 14,036.1 points (up 22.1%).

BPL LIMITED Financial Update...

BPL LIMITED net profit fell 79.2% YoY to Rs 3 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 15 million a year ago. Net sales rose 5.5% to Rs 162 million during the period as against Rs 153 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, BPL LIMITED reported 60.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 51 million compared to net profit of Rs 129 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 36.5% to Rs 522 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BPL LIMITED, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 44.6.
