BPL LIMITED share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 139.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 59,336.8 (up 0.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are Blue Star (up 3.1%) and VAIBHAV GEMS (up 2.5%).

WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (down 0.8%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (down 0.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, BPL LIMITED has moved up from Rs 59.7 to Rs 139.8, registering a gain of Rs 80.1 (up 134.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,725.6 to 59,336.8, registering a gain of 38.9% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (down 1.5%) and M&M (down 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,344.7 (up 0.1%). ONGC and Coal India are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,344.2 to 79,909.2, registering a gain of 14,565.0 points (up 22.3%).

BPL LIMITED Financial Update...

BPL LIMITED net profit fell 79.2% YoY to Rs 3 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 15 million a year ago. Net sales rose 5.5% to Rs 162 million during the period as against Rs 153 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, BPL LIMITED reported 60.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 51 million compared to net profit of Rs 129 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 36.5% to Rs 522 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BPL LIMITED, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 48.6.
