BLISS GVS PHARMA Gains 8%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 0.8%

BLISS GVS PHARMA share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 129.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 41,937.6 (up 0.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 5.4%) and GSK Pharma (up 4.3%).

Aurobindo Pharma (down 2.1%) and POLY MEDICURE (down 0.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, BLISS GVS PHARMA has moved up from Rs 92.1 to Rs 129.6, registering a gain of Rs 37.5 (up 40.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 28,021.8 to 41,937.6, registering a gain of 49.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were GRANULES INDIA (up 129.5%), Glenmark Pharma (up 115.9%) and GSK Pharma (up 115.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,728.6 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (down 1.6%) and Tata Steel (down 1.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,724.2 (up 0.1%). Divis Laboratories and Titan are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,216.1 to 80,728.6, registering a gain of 15,512.5 points (up 23.8%).

BLISS GVS PHARMA Financial Update...

BLISS GVS PHARMA net profit grew 53.8% YoY to Rs 221 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 144 million a year ago. Net sales rose 15.1% to Rs 1,836 million during the period as against Rs 1,595 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, BLISS GVS PHARMA reported 6.3% increase in net profit to Rs 816 million compared to net profit of Rs 767 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 2.5% to Rs 7,702 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BLISS GVS PHARMA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 15.2.
