BF UTILITIES Gains 9%; BSE POWER Index Down 0.6%

BF UTILITIES share price has zoomed 9% and is presently trading at Rs 1,063.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER index is at 8,401.0 (down 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE POWER index today are INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE (up 0.7%) and BHEL (up 0.6%).

ADANI ENERGY SOLUTIONS (down 2.3%) and NTPC (down 1.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, BF UTILITIES has moved up from Rs 626.3 to Rs 1,063.3, registering a gain of Rs 437.1 (up 69.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER index has moved up from 4,621.4 to 8,401.0, registering a gain of 81.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER index stocks during this same period were TORRENT POWER (up 146.2%), BHEL (up 106.4%) and Siemens (up 105.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,519.3 .

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Maruti Suzuki (up 1.4%) and Titan (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Axis Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,237.1 (down 0.1%). BPCL and IOC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,512.1 to 82,519.3, registering a gain of 17,007.2 points (up 26.0%).

BF UTILITIES Financial Update...

BF UTILITIES net profit fell 71.1% YoY to Rs 175 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 606 million a year ago. Net sales declined 97.9% to Rs 55 million during the period as against Rs 2,632 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, BF UTILITIES reported 175.6% increase in net profit to Rs 2,567 million compared to net profit of Rs 931 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 47.9% to Rs 7,591 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BF UTILITIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 21.1.
