BF UTILITIES Gains 6%; BSE POWER Index Up 1.6%

BF UTILITIES share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 1,055.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER index is at 8,422.0 (up 1.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE POWER index today are TORRENT POWER (up 8.6%) and Siemens (up 3.3%).

ADANI ENERGY SOLUTIONS (down 0.9%) and NTPC (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, BF UTILITIES has moved up from Rs 602.2 to Rs 1,055.7, registering a gain of Rs 453.5 (up 75.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER index has moved up from 4,469.4 to 8,422.0, registering a gain of 88.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER index stocks during this same period were TORRENT POWER (up 172.3%), Siemens (up 115.0%) and BHEL (up 110.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,045.5 (up 0.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (up 2.3%) and Tech Mahindra (up 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,178.3 (up 0.7%). Shriram Transport and Trent are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,512.4 to 82,045.5, registering a gain of 16,533.1 points (up 25.2%).

BF UTILITIES Financial Update...

BF UTILITIES net profit fell 71.1% YoY to Rs 175 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 606 million a year ago. Net sales declined 97.9% to Rs 55 million during the period as against Rs 2,632 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, BF UTILITIES reported 175.6% increase in net profit to Rs 2,567 million compared to net profit of Rs 931 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 47.9% to Rs 7,591 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BF UTILITIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 20.9.
