BEML share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 4,063.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 69,647.9 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Thermax (up 3.8%) and SKF India (up 2.6%).

ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 6.6%) and Siemens (down 1.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, BEML has moved up from Rs 2,436.1 to Rs 4,063.8, registering a gain of Rs 1,627.7 (up 66.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 48,793.2 to 69,647.9, registering a gain of 42.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Electronics (up 110.0%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 107.3%) and Siemens (up 104.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,926.6 (down 0.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 3.3%) and Ultratech Cement (down 2.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,150.7 (down 0.3%). Adani Enterprises and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,023.2 to 79,926.6, registering a gain of 13,903.3 points (up 21.1%).

BEML Financial Update...

BEML net profit fell 1.4% YoY to Rs 510 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 518 million a year ago. Net sales declined 6.2% to Rs 8,598 million during the period as against Rs 9,168 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, BEML reported 78.5% increase in net profit to Rs 2,818 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,579 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 4.0% to Rs 40,543 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BEML, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 59.3.
