Ashiana Housing Plunges 5%; BSE REALTY Index Up 2.1%

Ashiana Housing share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 416.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 9,006.3 (up 2.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY index today are Sobha (down 1.5%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (down 0.9%).

Phoenix Mill (up 4.0%) and MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (up 3.6%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Ashiana Housing has moved up from Rs 188.0 to Rs 416.2, registering a gain of Rs 228.2 (up 121.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,166.7 to 9,006.3, registering a gain of 116.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 282.2%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 233.0%) and Phoenix Mill (up 135.6%).

The BSE Sensex is at 77,301.1 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 3.1%) and Wipro (up 3.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Power Grid Corp..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,562.3 (up 0.4%). Shriram Transport and Power Grid Corp. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,143.2 to 77,301.1, registering a gain of 14,158.0 points (up 22.4%).

Ashiana Housing Financial Update...

Ashiana Housing net profit grew 67.4% YoY to Rs 174 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 104 million a year ago. Net sales rose 159.9% to Rs 2,897 million during the period as against Rs 1,115 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Ashiana Housing reported 495.8% increase in net profit to Rs 279 million compared to net loss of Rs 70 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 83.7% to Rs 4,074 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Ashiana Housing, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 50.2.
