Ashiana Housing share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 359.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,030.4 (down 0.7%).

Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY index today are OBEROI REALTY (down 4.0%) and MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (down 2.6%).

Phoenix Mill (up 2.5%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 2.0%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Ashiana Housing has moved up from Rs 203.3 to Rs 359.3, registering a gain of Rs 156.0 (up 76.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,277.6 to 8,030.4, registering a gain of 87.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 196.9%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 196.5%) and Phoenix Mill (up 102.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,314.2 (down 0.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (down 2.7%) and Tata Motors (down 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,234.3 (down 0.5%). HDFC Bank and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,995.8 to 79,314.2, registering a gain of 13,318.4 points (up 20.2%).

Ashiana Housing Financial Update...

Ashiana Housing net profit grew 67.4% YoY to Rs 174 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 104 million a year ago. Net sales rose 159.9% to Rs 2,897 million during the period as against Rs 1,115 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Ashiana Housing reported 495.8% increase in net profit to Rs 279 million compared to net loss of Rs 70 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 83.7% to Rs 4,074 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Ashiana Housing, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 43.3.
