Abbott India share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 29,312.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 41,979.4 (down 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are AARTI DRUGS (up 7.6%) and HIKAL CHEMIC (up 3.2%).

GSK Pharma (down 2.9%) and Procter & Gamble Health (down 2.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Abbott India has moved up from Rs 23,435.8 to Rs 29,312.8, registering a gain of Rs 5,877.0 (up 25.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 28,021.8 to 41,979.4, registering a gain of 49.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were GRANULES INDIA (up 130.7%), Glenmark Pharma (up 114.6%) and GSK Pharma (up 111.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,033.2 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Bharti Airtel (up 1.0%) and Asian Paints (up 0.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Bharti Airtel and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,813.8 (up 0.2%). Grasim Industries and Tata Consumer Products are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,216.1 to 81,033.2, registering a gain of 15,817.1 points (up 24.3%).

Abbott India Financial Update...

Abbott India net profit grew 13.0% YoY to Rs 3,280 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 2,902 million a year ago. Net sales rose 5.3% to Rs 15,576 million during the period as against Rs 14,790 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Abbott India reported 26.5% increase in net profit to Rs 12,012 million compared to net profit of Rs 9,494 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 9.4% to Rs 58,489 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Abbott India, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 50.3.
