ASTRAL POLY share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 2,385.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,489.2 (up 1.0%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Finolex Cables (up 3.2%) and Thermax (up 3.1%).

SKF India (down 1.8%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA (down 1.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, ASTRAL POLY has moved up from Rs 1,985.3 to Rs 2,385.6, registering a gain of Rs 400.3 (up 20.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 39,945.7 to 72,489.2, registering a gain of 81.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 239.1%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 178.9%) and Bharat Electronics (up 152.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 2.8%) and Power Grid Corp. (up 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ICICI Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,537.8 (up 0.2%). M&M and Power Grid Corp. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,523.2 to 77,341.1, registering a gain of 13,817.9 points (up 21.8%).

ASTRAL POLY Financial Update...

ASTRAL POLY net profit fell 9.5% YoY to Rs 1,814 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 2,005 million a year ago. Net sales rose 7.9% to Rs 16,251 million during the period as against Rs 15,062 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, ASTRAL POLY reported 6.3% decrease in net profit to Rs 4,595 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,904 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 17.4% to Rs 51,585 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ASTRAL POLY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 117.4.
