ASHOKA BUILDCON Gains 7%; BSE REALTY Index Up 0.9%

ASHOKA BUILDCON share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 257.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,407.8 (up 0.9%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are Sobha (up 5.0%) and PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 4.4%).

Phoenix Mill (down 4.4%) and Brigade Enterprises (down 1.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, ASHOKA BUILDCON has moved up from Rs 94.4 to Rs 257.2, registering a gain of Rs 162.8 (up 172.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,299.6 to 8,407.8, registering a gain of 95.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 244.7%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 235.8%) and Phoenix Mill (up 122.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,096.8 (down 0.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (down 2.2%) and Axis Bank (down 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,400.9 (down 0.3%). Axis Bank and Bajaj Finance are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,384.8 to 80,096.8, registering a gain of 13,712.0 points (up 20.7%).

ASHOKA BUILDCON Financial Update...

ASHOKA BUILDCON net profit grew 685.0% YoY to Rs 2,634 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 450 million a year ago. Net sales rose 24.6% to Rs 30,519 million during the period as against Rs 24,484 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, ASHOKA BUILDCON reported 51.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 3,729 million compared to net profit of Rs 7,714 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 35.0% to Rs 81,005 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ASHOKA BUILDCON, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 12.6.
