ASHOKA BUILDCON share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 231.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,536.1 (down 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are OBEROI REALTY (up 4.6%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 2.3%).

Phoenix Mill (down 5.1%) and Sobha (down 1.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, ASHOKA BUILDCON has moved up from Rs 91.0 to Rs 231.8, registering a gain of Rs 140.8 (up 154.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,281.2 to 8,536.1, registering a gain of 99.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 232.6%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 215.6%) and Phoenix Mill (up 127.6%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Reliance Ind. (down 3.3%) and Kotak Bank (down 3.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,530.0 . Wipro and Reliance Ind. are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,795.1 to 80,557.0, registering a gain of 13,761.9 points (up 20.6%).

ASHOKA BUILDCON Financial Update...

ASHOKA BUILDCON net profit grew 685.0% YoY to Rs 2,634 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 450 million a year ago. Net sales rose 24.6% to Rs 30,519 million during the period as against Rs 24,484 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, ASHOKA BUILDCON reported 51.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 3,729 million compared to net profit of Rs 7,714 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 35.0% to Rs 81,005 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ASHOKA BUILDCON, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 11.3.
