ARTSON ENG share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 180.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 73,625.8 (up 0.3%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are GRINDWELL NORTON (down 0.9%) and Thermax (down 0.8%).

Finolex Cables (up 3.3%) and ABB (up 2.3%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, ARTSON ENG has moved up from Rs 0.0 to Rs 180.5, registering a gain of Rs 180.5 .

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 46,903.1 to 73,625.8, registering a gain of 57.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 121.5%), BHEL (up 119.2%) and Bharat Electronics (up 106.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 84,686.5 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 1.9%) and SBI (up 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,866.9 (up 0.3%). ONGC and BPCL are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,800.8 to 84,686.5, registering a gain of 17,885.7 points (up 26.8%).

ARTSON ENG Financial Update...

ARTSON ENG net profit fell 147.9% YoY to Rs -5 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 10 million a year ago. Net sales declined 40.4% to Rs 250 million during the period as against Rs 419 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, ARTSON ENG reported 125.7% increase in net profit to Rs 61 million compared to net loss of Rs 235 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 2.5% to Rs 1,281 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ARTSON ENG, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 147.3.
