APOLLO TUBES Gains 6%; BSE METAL Index Up 0.6%

APOLLO TUBES share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 1,533.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 31,413.7 (up 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Hindustan Zinc (up 4.3%) and SAIL (up 1.1%).

JSW Steel (down 0.7%) and NMDC (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, APOLLO TUBES has moved down from Rs 1,624.0 to Rs 1,533.6, registering a loss of Rs 90.4 (down 5.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 22,460.5 to 31,413.7, registering a gain of 39.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 118.0%), Hindustan Zinc (up 83.4%) and Hindalco (up 50.3%).

The BSE Sensex is at 80,444.7 (up 0.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are SBI (up 5.1%) and ICICI Bank (up 3.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,474.3 (up 0.6%). SBI and Bharat Electronics are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,049.1 to 80,444.7, registering a gain of 16,395.7 points (up 25.6%).

APOLLO TUBES Financial Update...

APOLLO TUBES net profit fell 0.2% YoY to Rs 1,932 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,936 million a year ago. Net sales rose 9.4% to Rs 49,743 million during the period as against Rs 45,449 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, APOLLO TUBES reported 14.1% increase in net profit to Rs 7,324 million compared to net profit of Rs 6,419 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 12.1% to Rs 181,188 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of APOLLO TUBES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 58.1.
