APAR INDUSTRIES share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 7,613.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 70,944.3 (down 0.9%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Carborundum Universal (down 2.9%) and HINDUSTAN AERO. (down 2.4%).

AIA Engineering (up 1.1%) and Thermax (up 0.2%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, APAR INDUSTRIES has moved up from Rs 3,498.3 to Rs 7,613.9, registering a gain of Rs 4,115.6 (up 117.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 41,608.8 to 70,944.3, registering a gain of 70.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 206.0%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 143.5%) and Bharat Electronics (up 136.0%).

The BSE Sensex is at 80,283.6 (down 0.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Reliance Ind. (down 2.8%) and Kotak Bank (down 2.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,395.6 (down 0.6%). Wipro and Kotak Bank are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,795.1 to 80,283.6, registering a gain of 13,488.4 points (up 20.2%).

APAR INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

APAR INDUSTRIES net profit fell 2.7% YoY to Rs 2,362 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 2,428 million a year ago. Net sales rose 9.1% to Rs 44,551 million during the period as against Rs 40,843 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, APAR INDUSTRIES reported 148.4% increase in net profit to Rs 6,377 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,567 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 54.0% to Rs 143,522 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of APAR INDUSTRIES , based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 37.0.
