ALPHAGEO (INDIA) Gains 7%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 1.0%

ALPHAGEO (INDIA) share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 415.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,362.4 (up 1.0%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Siemens (up 4.0%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA (up 3.5%).

Thermax (down 0.9%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, ALPHAGEO (INDIA) has moved up from Rs 246.5 to Rs 415.8, registering a gain of Rs 169.3 (up 68.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 39,203.6 to 71,362.4, registering a gain of 82.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 243.5%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 165.8%) and Bharat Electronics (up 143.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 76,899.8 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (up 1.7%) and Titan (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,396.7 (up 0.3%). HDFC LIFE INSURANCE and Divis Laboratories are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,724.7 to 76,899.8, registering a gain of 14,175.1 points (up 22.6%).

ALPHAGEO (INDIA) Financial Update...

ALPHAGEO (INDIA) net profit grew 495.1% YoY to Rs 41 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 10 million a year ago. Net sales rose 267.5% to Rs 519 million during the period as against Rs 141 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, ALPHAGEO (INDIA) reported 6.6% increase in net profit to Rs 130 million compared to net profit of Rs 122 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 57.4% to Rs 659 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ALPHAGEO (INDIA), based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 253.2.
