AJMERA REALTY Gains 5%; BSE REALTY Index Down 0.4%

AJMERA REALTY share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 735.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 7,930.0 (down 0.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are SUNTECK REALTY (up 2.7%) and PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 2.3%).

Godrej Properties (down 1.7%) and Sobha (down 1.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, AJMERA REALTY has moved up from Rs 385.7 to Rs 735.0, registering a gain of Rs 349.4 (up 90.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,341.4 to 7,930.0, registering a gain of 82.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 189.2%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 188.2%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 102.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,222.0 (down 0.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Asian Paints (down 2.4%) and Infosys (down 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,190.3 (down 0.4%). LTIMINDTREE and Asian Paints are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,953.5 to 79,222.0, registering a gain of 13,268.5 points (up 20.1%).

AJMERA REALTY Financial Update...

AJMERA REALTY net profit grew 99.3% YoY to Rs 295 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 148 million a year ago. Net sales rose 102.9% to Rs 2,318 million during the period as against Rs 1,143 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, AJMERA REALTY reported 45.2% increase in net profit to Rs 1,039 million compared to net profit of Rs 716 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 62.4% to Rs 7,000 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of AJMERA REALTY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 25.1.
