AGI INFRA Plunges 6%; BSE REALTY Index Down 0.3%

AGI INFRA share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 956.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,168.1 (down 0.3%).

Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY index today are DLF (down 1.1%) and Godrej Properties (down 1.0%).

Phoenix Mill (up 1.7%) and PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 1.4%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, AGI INFRA has moved up from Rs 600.0 to Rs 956.8, registering a gain of Rs 356.9 (up 59.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,225.3 to 8,168.1, registering a gain of 93.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 232.5%), Sobha (up 214.3%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 100.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,418.0 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (down 2.0%) and Axis Bank (down 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,569.5 (up 0.1%). Hindalco and BPCL are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 80,418.0, registering a gain of 15,016.1 points (up 23.0%).

AGI INFRA Financial Update...

AGI INFRA net profit grew 8.0% YoY to Rs 144 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 133 million a year ago. Net sales rose 5.5% to Rs 726 million during the period as against Rs 688 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, AGI INFRA reported 32.1% increase in net profit to Rs 481 million compared to net profit of Rs 364 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 22.1% to Rs 2,411 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of AGI INFRA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 22.0.
