ADANI WILMAR share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 332.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 21,440.8 (down 1.8%).

Among the top losers in the BSE FMCG index today are Emami (down 5.6%) and KRBL (down 5.1%).

Gillette India (up 5.3%) and Godfrey Phillips (up 3.0%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, ADANI WILMAR has moved up from Rs 327.2 to Rs 332.2, registering a gain of Rs 5.0 (up 1.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 18,518.4 to 21,440.8, registering a gain of 15.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were Godfrey Phillips (up 206.1%), BOM.BURMAH (up 97.7%) and RADICO KHAITAN (up 97.1%).

The BSE Sensex is at 78,469.4 (down 1.7%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finserv (down 3.9%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 3.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,905.7 (down 1.6%). Hero Motocorp and Bajaj Auto are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,874.9 to 78,469.4, registering a gain of 14,594.5 points (up 22.8%).

ADANI WILMAR Financial Update...

ADANI WILMAR net profit grew 316.5% YoY to Rs 2,819 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 1,302 million a year ago. Net sales rose 17.9% to Rs 144,605 million during the period as against Rs 122,672 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, ADANI WILMAR reported 69.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,707 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,536 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 11.9% to Rs 512,616 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ADANI WILMAR, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 45.3.
