ADANI WILMAR share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 371.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 22,771.2 (up 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE FMCG index today are Ruchi Soya Industries (up 3.8%) and Tata Coffee (up 3.6%).

Godfrey Phillips (down 3.0%) and Balrampur Chini (down 2.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, ADANI WILMAR has moved down from Rs 382.6 to Rs 371.5, registering a loss of Rs 11.1 (down 2.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 18,678.9 to 22,771.2, registering a gain of 21.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were Godfrey Phillips (up 158.4%), BOM.BURMAH (up 155.5%) and Colgate (up 78.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,658.1 (down 0.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (down 1.7%) and Kotak Bank (down 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,680.1 (down 0.1%). Ultratech Cement and Kotak Bank are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,216.1 to 80,658.1, registering a gain of 15,442.0 points (up 23.7%).

ADANI WILMAR Financial Update...

ADANI WILMAR net profit grew 621.9% YoY to Rs 3,116 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 597 million a year ago. Net sales rose 9.6% to Rs 141,686 million during the period as against Rs 129,281 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, ADANI WILMAR reported 69.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,707 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,536 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 11.9% to Rs 512,616 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ADANI WILMAR, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 89.1.
