The total amount of coal produced in India jumped by 11.7% from 67.9 m tons in November 2021 to 75.8 m tons in November 2022.
According to data from the coal ministry, Coal India experienced an increase in November 2022 of 12.8%, while Singareni Collieries Company and other captive mines experienced growth of 7.8% and 6.9%, respectively.
