Indian benchmark indices reversed the trend as the session progressed and ended the day higher.

The benchmark equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50, settled higher on Wednesday, mirroring their global peers.

At the closing bell on Wednesday, the BSE Sensex stood higher by 230 points (up 0.3%).

Meanwhile, the NSE Nifty closed higher by 82 points (up 0.3%).

Trent, Asian Paints and NTPC were among the top gainers.

Wipro, Titan and Hindalco on the other hand, were among the top losers.

The BSE MidCap index ended 0.3% higher and BSE SmallCap index ended 1.1% higher.

Sectoral indices were trading mixed today with socks in power sector and capital goods sector witnessing buying. Meanwhile stocks in realty sector and healthcare sector witnessing selling pressure.

Top buzzing stocks today

VI share price will be in focus today.

shares of Vodafone Idea shares rose 6% to Rs 7.92 on November 27, extending their three-day rally to 17.5%, amid reports that the Union Cabinet may approve bank guarantee waivers for spectrum purchased before 2022.

The telecom operator currently holds bank guarantee obligations of over Rs 247 bn, while combined liabilities with Bharti Airtel exceed Rs 300 bn.

Talbros Auto will also be a top buzzing stock.

Shares of Talbros Automotive Components skyrocketed 15% on 27 November after the company announced bagging multi-year orders worth around Rs 4.8 bn for both domestic and exports market from leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

The surge in the stock was also triggered by a spike in trading volumes on the counter.

BCL Industries Receives LoA

BCL Industries received a letter of acceptance for supplying 60 lakh litres of Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA) from Rajasthan State Ganganagar Sugar Mills.

However, the company did not disclose the value of the order.

Established in 1976, BCL Industries is one of India's largest agro-processing manufacturing companies, with diverse businesses and vertical integrations. The company has rapidly expanded into segments such as edible oils, rice milling, grain-based distilleries, and real estate.

As of November 27, 2024, the company has a market capitalization of Rs 16.5 bn on the BSE. BCL Industries is a constituent of the BSE SmallCap index.

Historically, BCL Industries shares have offered modest returns to investors, delivering a 6 per cent return in the last six months and nearly 1 per cent in the past year.

RailTel's New Order Win

The buying interest sparked after the company bagged a work order worth over Rs 150 m from Kakinada Smart City Corporation.

The order is for the operations and maintenance of the existing integrated command communication centre of KSCCL, Kakinada.

RailTel Corporation of India is a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. Established in 2000, RailTel provides a wide range of telecom services across India, focusing primarily on the development, operation, and maintenance of telecommunication infrastructure for the Indian Railways and other sectors.

It is one of the largest neutral telecom infrastructure providers in the country, offering services such as broadband, networking, data centre management, and cloud services.

The company operates a vast network of optical fibre cables along the railway tracks, making it a key player in India's telecom and IT infrastructure.

This network supports high-speed internet, telecommunication services, and various other solutions for government and private enterprises.

The company also focuses on initiatives like Wi-Fi services at railway stations, e-governance projects, and smart city solutions.

Adani stocks zoom up to 20%

Shares of Adani Group companies surged by up to 20% on the NSE on Wednesday following a clarification issued by Adani Green Energy (AGEL). The company stated that Gautam Adani, Sagar Adani, and senior executive Vneet Jaain were cleared of all bribery charges by the US Department of Justice, though it acknowledged the existence of three charges in the indictment.

Among the top gainers were Adani Total Gas and Adani Power, surging 20%. Adani Green Energy shares rose 10%, closing at Rs 660.8.

Shares of Adani Enterprises rose 8% to Rs 2,331, and Adani Ports rose 5.5%. Meanwhile, Adani Wilmar was up 9%.

As per media reports, former attorney general and senior counsel Mukul Rohatgi also backed Adani Group's claims, saying in his assessment there are five charges or counts and Adani and his aides have not been charged under Count 1 or 5.

GHCL Approves Capex Plan

The company's board approved an additional capex of Rs 3.5 bn for the development of Zara Zumara Salt Field work in Kutch, Gujarat.

GHCL is an Indian multinational company, primarily engaged in the production of chemicals, textiles, and consumer products.

Established in 1988, the company has diversified operations with a significant presence in the manufacturing of soda ash, which is used in industries like glass, detergents, and chemicals.

It is one of the largest soda ash producers in India, with a strong export market.

In addition to its chemical business, GHCL also has a textile division that manufactures home textile products, including bed linens, pillow covers, and curtains.

The company's consumer product line includes edible oils and other FMCG items. GHCL has a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, implementing eco-friendly processes and technologies across its operations.
