Infosys To Build GenAI

Information Technology (IT) giant Infosys and Nvidia have furthered their strategic partnership, aiming to empower businesses to enhance productivity through the utilisation of GenAI apps and solutions.

This partnership will incorporate the Nvidia AI Enterprise ecosystem into Infosys Topaz, including models, tools, runtimes, and GPU systems.

Infosys Topaz is an AI-centric suite of services, solutions, and platforms designed to accelerate business value using GenAI technologies.

Through this integration, Infosys will create offerings that customers can quickly adapt to integrate GenAI into their businesses.

This hub will be dedicated to training and certifying 50,000 of its employees in Nvidia AI technology, thus providing GenAI expertise to its extensive network of customers across various industries.

In a separate initiative earlier this month, Nvidia announced its intention to upskill over 600,000 employees of Tata Consultancy Services, India's largest IT services firm, in AI skills.

The partnership with Infosys is part of Nvidia's broader plan to collaborate with other IT services companies and Indian universities to train employees and students in AI.

Infosys is utilising the full-stack Nvidia GenAI platform, including both hardware and enterprise-grade software, to innovate across its business operations. This includes assisting customers in creating GenAI applications for various aspects of business operations, such as sales and marketing.

Additionally, this collaboration extends to digitalisation apps, with a particular focus on developing solutions for enterprise use cases.

Infosys and Nvidia are also jointly working on AI-powered solutions in areas such as 5G, cybersecurity, and energy transition.

Infosys is among the beaten-down IT stocks that could potentially stage a comeback. For more, check out the Top 5 IT Stocks that are still Undervalued. Worth a Look?

M&M Crosses 2 trillion Mark

The market capitalisation of Mahindra and Mahindra crossed the Rs 2 tn mark, helped by a strong order book in the SUV segment and leadership position in the tractor segment.

The automaker's market cap has doubled in less than one-and-a-half years - from Rs 1 tn in April 2022 to over Rs 2 tn this week. M&M's market cap hit Rs 2 tn mark on Monday.

The incremental m-cap in the last two years is more than the incremental market value the firm had over the last decade.

Capital allocation actions have led to an overall better financial performance, with several non-accretive divestments completed.

Mahindra's auto and farm businesses are industry leaders and are looking to capitalise on market leadership positions. It is the No. 1 revenue market share in the SUV segment and has about 50% market share of LCV.

Its dominance in the domestic tractor segment has seen its market share rise by about 3% in the last two years.

The electric vehicle (EV) megatrend is a once in a century revolution happening right in front of us.
