On these days, the stock market activity remains closed.
No stocks are trading, and you can't invest in the market on the trading holidays.

On the day of Diwali - Laxmi Pujan, a special Mahurat trading session is held. The timing for that day is changed and notified subsequently.
The exchange can change or alter the holidays, by issuing a separate circular in advance.
