What is Alpha Wave Profits?

Alpha Wave Profits is a long-short stock trading recommendation service. In this service, trades will be identified in the stock market using the 'Alpha Wave Scanner' proprietary system which works in both bullish and bearish markets.

Who is the editor of Alpha Wave Profits?

Brijesh Bhatia

Brijesh Bhatia, Research Analyst and expert chartist, is the editor of Alpha Wave Profits.

Fully committed to his craft, Brijesh has mastered the art of making money by trading using technical analysis.

Brijesh has an MBA from ICFAI and 16 years of experience in India's financial markets.

He began his career on Dalal Street as commodities dealer and it wasn't long before he developed his own unique trading system.

Brijesh worked on his trading system until it could be expected to deliver 5 units of return for every unit of risk.

After establishing his credentials in the commodities space, Brijesh expanded his horizons by getting into the stock market in 2013.

Brijesh strongly believes in keeping risk levels low while trading. The best part of his trading system is the emphasis on minimising risk with tight stop losses.

Brijesh has worked with some big names on Dalal Street like UTI, Asit C Mehta and Edelweiss Securities. Before joining Equitymaster, he was Head of Research at a brokerage firm.

Brijesh has been quoted widely in financial sites like Economic Times, Moneycontrol, and Financial Express.

What is the goal of Alpha Wave Profits?

The goal of Alpha Wave Profits is to potentially create second income for subscribers from trading.

What does Alpha Wave Profits offer?

Alpha Wave Profits offers subscribers the opportunity to potentially profit from gains in stocks in both bull markets and bear markets based on the momentum of price action.

What does Alpha Wave Profits not offer?

Alpha Wave Profits does not offer any long-term trades or investments following a buy and hold strategy.

Also, please note, Alpha Wave Profits is a generalised recommendation service. It does not offer customised opinions for any particular subscriber or class of subscribers.

We are not qualified financial advisors nor Investment Advisors and we strongly recommend our subscribers seek professional advice before taking any decisions for their investments.

When and how will trade alerts be sent?

Trade alerts will be sent via SMS, e-mail and the Equitymaster mobile app as and when appropriate trading opportunities arise.

What will be the frequency of the recommendations?

There will be an average of 3-5 trades a month. We believe in theory of 'Trade Less, Make More'. In some cases, there could be up to 6-7 trade recommendation in a month based on the momentum in the market.

What is the amount of money to be used per trade?

As we are recommending trades in both cash and futures, the investment per trade is considered to be Rs 500,000. This is because trades will require margin and Mark-to-Market (MTM) in the futures segment.

This allocation will of course vary from person to person. For something that works best for you, we recommend you talk to your investment advisor.

What are the expected returns from this service?

In any trading service, the returns depend on the movement of the market. Thus, we can't forecast returns in advance. In this service, leverage may be used by way of futures trading. This can amplify profits and losses.

Are Equitymaster Research Analysts allowed to trade in the recommended securities?

Equitymaster is an honest, completely transparent and a professionally run organisation. We have a strict compliance system, internal policies and Share Trading Guidelines in place.

Please note all securities trading of our employees are tracked and monitored to ensure that our subscriber gets the first right to our paid research.

We follow the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations and give full disclosures with respect to each recommendation. We further request our subscribers to go through our Share Trading Guidelines.
