What is Nifty low volatility 50?
The Nifty low volatility 50 index measures the performance of 50 Indian companies listed on the National Stock Exchange, which are the least volatile stocks in the market. Weightage of securities in the index are assigned based on the volatility values.
So basically it measures the performance of the low volatile stocks.
The number of companies present in the index remains fixed at 50.
